Youngster Noone to Stay
01/09/2018
Yet another Zebra favourite has signed on again for 2019, as Jack Noone has committed to the club moving forward.
The young key defender has easily been one of Sandringham’s best players all season and it is really exciting to have him locked in going into next season.
“I'm really excited to have committed to another year at the Zebs. Unfortunately, our 2018 season didn't go to plan but I'm very encouraged by the nucleus of our current group and feel as though success is just around the corner,” Jack said about the decision.
Much like the rest of the club, Noone is looking forward to the opportunity to play finals next season, and the chance to win a premiership in his time there.
“Playing finals footy in 2019 is very much front of mind, along with continuing to cultivate a strong community culture at the Zebs for next year and beyond.”
Sandringham Football Club’s chief executive, David Cannizzo is excited to see Jack’s VFL path continue, and to be a part of the talented youngster’s future.
“Jack is such a good story for the talent pathway, fighting his way through and earning his spot while playing exceptional football through some adversity. Jack has proven to be a wonderful leader on and off field and a big reason why our culture is really good,” Cannizzo explained.
