Blake Watson re-signs for 2025

The Sandringham Football Club is excited to announce Blake Watson as our first signing for 2025. The 25-year old is gearing up for his fourth season with the Zebs after making his debut in 2022.

Watson puts pen to paper for the 2025 season after a strong and consistent performance this season. Being a key pillar of the playing group in 2024, Watson averaged 15.1 disposals and kicked eight goals in 17 games where he played across the midfield and forward line.

His successful 2024 campaign was topped off at our Neil Bencraft Best & Fairest Night where he took home the Zeal Player of the Year Award and the Greg Lyons Memorial Trophy for the Most Courageous Player for the second time after winning both in 2023, as well as winning the Ed Hattam Memorial Trophy for the Most Determined Player.

His work inside the contest and around the ground, along with his age and experience, makes Watson a reliable asset to the Sandringham Football Club in 2025 and we can’t wait to see him again in the yellow, black and blue!
