Sandringham Football Club is deeply saddened to hear of the passing of Joe McConechie.
Joe played in the seconds for Sandringham throughout the 1950's, and after his playing days, continued on as a volunteer gate keeper.
Not long after, Joe was awarded a Life Membership with the Sandringham Football Club, for his loyalty and contributions to the club.
We pass on our support and condolences to the family of Joe during this tough time.
