Vale Glen Philbey

Our condolences and thoughts are with the family and friends of Glen Philbey, following his recent passing.  

Glen was recruited from Melbourne FC in 1984 as a ruckman and centre half back and won the Best & Fairest in 1988. He had three stints at Sandringham FC in 1984, 1988 and 1989 and kicked ten goals for Sandy against Preston in 1989.

A fine player and very popular clubman, Glen was a great friend of late Vice-President, David Burgin. He will be sadly missed.
