The Sandringham Football Club is deeply saddened to hear of the passing of St Kilda FC club legend, Danny Frawley.

Danny was a much-loved player by many St Kilda and Sandringham supporters, and was often spotted down at Wilson Storage Trevor Barker Beach Oval, supporting the Zebras.

Last year, Danny helped out the club by sitting on the panel with Shane Warne and Aaron Hamill, for our biggest Business Lunch in recent years.

He would also participate in club events, like the annual Corporate Golf Day, and developed many of the Sandy and St Kilda players in his time as a St Kilda Assistant Coach.

His most recent event with Sandringham was just earlier this year, as the MC for our 90th Anniversary and Hall of Fame night, which he did so fittingly and brilliantly (pictured above with Norma Barker).

We extend our thoughts and condolences to the family and friends of Danny during this tough time.

Spud, you will be greatly missed by all.
