The Sandringham Football Club is deeply saddened to hear of the passing of former Zebras player Adrian Mackenzie.

Adrian, known to many at the Zebras as 'Floppa', played 72 senior games with Sandringham and was part of the 1992 & 1994 premierships under Trevor Barker.

Adrian was extremely popular and well regarded around the football club.

"Floppa was one of the nicest and most considerate guys I have ever met through my time with Sandringham FC; one of the best people I've ever met, I'm shattered by this news and my heart goes out to the Mackenzie family" said Zebras Team Manager, Bruce Bowles.
