Trio of Sainters sign on for 2022

The Southern Saints have confirmed the re-signings of Tayla Kearns, Alexandra Hynes and Madi Capsalis ahead of the 2022 VFLW season
Madi Capsalis has re-signed for season 2022.
The talented and fierce trio have signed on for the Southern Sainters for the 2022 VFLW season.
Voted as the Best Emerging Player and finishing fifth in the Southern Saints Best and Fairest, Alexandra Hynes is continuing with the Southern Saints in season 2022.
Although not being her primary position, Hynes was used mainly as a ruck last season and was rarely beaten.
Hynes’ explosive competitiveness in the middle of the ground and in contested situations often gave her teammates first use of the ball.
Playing an important role to the dynamic forward line, the Club is also excited to lock in Tayla Kearns for another season with the Southern Sainters.
Tayla is the quickest player in the Club with her speed and acceleration providing spark to the team.
Tayla is a much loved component of the group and we look forward to seeing her continue to develop her footy in 2022.
A fiercely contested midfielder and almost impossible to bring down in a tackle, youngster Madi Capsalis has also signed on for another year with the Southern Saints.
Capsalis finished in the top 10 of the Southern Saints Best & Fairest and played a key role alongside already re-signed Hannah Stuart, Deanna Jolliffe & Mel Bertuna through the middle.
Capsalis has a huge amount of upside in her football and will be a force to be reckoned with again in 2022.
