Three New Defenders Sign for 2025!
11/02/2025
The Sandringham Football Club is excited to welcome an injection of new talent to our VFLW side with the signing of Zahlia Clarke, Kheely Cornwall and Natasha Entwistle.
Zahlia Clarke
Clarke joins the Zebras in 2025 after playing last season locally at East Ringwood, where she was the Runner Up Best & Fairest in 2023.
She represented Dandenong Stingrays in the Coates Talent League and made her debut for the Southern Saints in 2024, playing two games at VFLW level.
The versatile defender will be a valuable asset to the Zebras’ backline in 2025 and we can’t wait to see her showcase her talent in the yellow, black and blue.
Kheely Cornwall
A star defender from Cranbourne, Cornwall joins the Zebras ahead of the 2025 season.
She made her debut for the Southern Saints last year alongside teammate Clarke, and played with the Dandenong Stingrays in 2023 and 2024. She is also a former South East Juniors Interleague representative.
The tenacious defender will strengthen the Zebras’ defensive unit in 2025 and we’re excited to see her in action.
Natasha Entwistle
Entwistle is a competitive, medium defender who joins the Zebras from Western Australia.
Playing for East Fremantle in the WAFLW last season, she is a consistent and reliable player. She played her junior representative football for Western Australia in both the U17 & U18 championships, where she showcased her talent on and off the ball with her rebounding skills, as well as her off the ball defensive pressure.
The composed and skilful defender will bring great stability to the Zebras’ backline in 2025 and we look forward to seeing her on the field.
