This game will once again take place during our Vic Rajah Family Lawyers Charity Round, however, the match will be held earlier in the season when we take on Richmond on Sunday 19 May.
Pat was an avid Richmond supporter, making the match up a poignant one for all involved.
We are hoping to see the Zebras faithful turn out in droves to support such an important organisation.
Centred around empowering youth, the Pat Cronin Foundation encourages young people to make smart decisions and look out for others - particularly their friends.
In April 2016, 19-year-old Pat was the victim of a Coward’s Punch whilst celebrating a night out with friends. The Pat Cronin Foundation is run by his family and continues to promote positive change in an environment that leaves our youth vulnerable.
“We are really proud of all our players as they continue to embrace our inclusive and diverse football club,” said Sandringham FC CEO, Marcus Ashcroft.
“The Pat Cronin Foundation will enhance our strong set of values and behaviours.”
Pat's Match wouldn't be possible without the support of partners such as Vic Rajah Family Lawyers, who are strong advocates of 'Pat's Match' and the work of the Pat Cronin Foundation.
“As a father of 3 children myself and having had the opportunity to meet with Matt Cronin (Pat’s dad) I can see the positive work being performed by the Foundation, the passion that drives the cause and the everlasting impact it will have on teenagers and young adults,” said Vic Rajah.
“After the success of our inaugural Pat's Match in 2023, I am very keen to continue to assist the Foundation to increase its reach in Victoria and beyond.”
Pat's Match is a day to reflect, commemorate, inspire and encourage everyone to ‘Be Wise’.
