Sandringham Football Club is pleased to welcome Marcus Kleinert as a Southern Saints Assistant Coach for the 2023 VFLW season.
VFLW Assistant Coach, Marcus Kleinert
Marcus joins us as our VFLW Forwards Coach after six years as Senior Coach at Endeavour Hills Senior Football Club (EHSFC).
He has been involved in women's footy for nine years and loves everything about it.
Marcus has a range of experience coaching in VWFL Div 1, South East Div 1 and Southern Football Netball League (SFNL) Div 1 and was awarded SFNL Coach of the Year in 2019 and 2021. He also became an EHSFC Life Member in 2022.
"I'm looking forward to learning and growing more as a coach through this great opportunity. The fact that I’ll get to learn more and develop with our girls really excites me. I can’t wait to get stuck in and see what we can do in 2023." says Marcus.
VFLW Head Coach, Michelle Densley, spoke of Marcus' appointment,
"I'm excited to have Marcus onboard. He has extensive experience coaching women's football and I'm sure he will add some great knowledge to the group."
