Joey Campigli becomes a Zeb

The Sandringham Football Club is excited to welcome Jonah ‘Joey’ Campigli to the Zebs!

Joey Campigli joins the Zebras after a successful 2024 campaign at Old Brighton Football Club. Playing the first nine games of the year in the U19s competition, he then spent the remainder of the season in the senior squad, which included kicking two goals in a losing Grand Final.

Playing through the midfield in his junior years, Campigli slowly started spending more time in the forward line. Showcasing his aerial presence, agility and speed, he is set to be an important part of the Zebs playing group in 2025.

Finishing the year with 21 games and 49 goals, Campigli was named in the Holmesglen U19 Team of the Year as a half-forward and won the 2024 VAFA Anytime Fitness Rising Star Award. After a breakout year, the 20-year-old is looking forward to improving all aspects of his game and making an impact at VFL level.

We can’t wait to see Joey run out in the yellow, black and blue in 2025!
