19/12/2024
The Sandringham Football Club is thrilled to announce the signing of Issy Hartog and Anais Everitt for the 2025 season.
Issy Hartog
Issy Hartog joins Sandringham from Port Melbourne, where they gained valuable experience, showed their football knowledge and executed crucial intercept marks. Their consistency and composure under pressure have established them as a great talent in the league, adding to their skills as a reliable defender.
Using their athleticism and versatility, Hartog has developed into a dynamic player capable of impacting both ends of the ground. They bring defensive grit and an ability to transition effectively into attack, making them a dual threat on the field. With their leadership, work ethic, and awareness, Hartog is expected to play a key role in bolstering Sandringham's defensive structures and driving the team's overall performance in the upcoming season.
Anais Everitt
The daughter of former AFL great Peter “Spider” Everitt, Anais Everitt has been steadily carving out her own path in the game.
After transitioning from a successful junior basketball career, she has embraced football with incredible dedication and made significant strides in her development.
This year, she showcased her talents playing local footy with Scotch in the VAFA, where she excelled as a versatile ruck and key forward. Everitt's height, athleticism, and strong competitive instincts make her a reliable option in the contest, highlighting her impactful presence around the ground.
Her ability to adapt to football has been impressive, and her game has improved dramatically. We are excited to continue supporting Everitt in her growth and are confident that 2025 will be another year of significant progress for the talented utility.
We look forward to seeing what both these new signings bring to Sandringham in 2025.
