Former Dragon signs with the Zebras

Michael Manteit has returned home and signed with the Zebras for 2020!

Manteit (23yo, 189cm) is an elite running midfielder who is capable of playing in the backline.

Originally a Sandy Dragon, Manteit has spent the last two seasons playing for the Southport Sharks in the NEAFL.

With Southport, Manteit led his team to two consecutive grand finals in which they were victorious in 2018.

In that premiership-winning year, he went on to average 25 disposals per game, win the club's best & fairest award and earn himself NEAFL Team of the Year honours.

Previously, Manteit played for Sydney University and was also rookie-listed with Collingwood FC in 2015.

Sandringham are extremely excited on Michael's return and can't wait to see him back out on Wilson Storage Trevor Barker Beach Oval.
