Five Zebras Re-Sign

Sandringham are excited to announce a number of players who have all recommitted to the club for season 2020.
Trent Thomas, Durras Seccull, Jono Haidon, Jimmy Sziller and Ryan Carroll have all put pen to paper to represent the yellow, black and blue again this year.
Trent Thomas
Trent returns for his 2nd consecutive year for Sandringham. Trent played 4 seniors VFL games in his first year with Sandringham.
Trent found the goals on 16 occasions for Berwick FC in 2019 back at local level whilst also featuring for the AFL Outer East team in the Worksafe Community Championships.
We wish Trent all the best in 2020!
Durras Seccull
Durras returns for his 2nd consecutive year as a zebra after featuring in 3 senior VFL games in year 1, including 4 goals in his debut against Williamstown in 2019.
Durras brings height and a strong pair of hands to the zebras forward line.
Durras has kicked 61 goals in 33 goals at local level in the last two years and Sandy are hoping to see that form at VFL level in 2020.
Jono Haidon
In 2020 Jono will enter his 6th year with Sandringham Zebras making him the most experienced zebra left on the list.
Jono had an interrupted pre-season in 2019 through injury but still featured in 12 senior VFL games kicking 8 goals.
We look forward to having Jono’s energy in amongst the squad in 2020.
Jimmy Sziller
Jimmy returns to Sandringham Zebras for his 4th successive year.
Jimmy is a much loved figure in amongst the coaching and playing group and we are delighted to have him back again.
In 12 appearances with his local club St Pauls FC in 2019 Jimmy featured in the best players on 10 occasions.
He also played 7 VFL games and hopes to build on his 20 senior VFL games in 2020.
Ryan Carroll
Ryan returns for his 2nd consecutive year for Sandringham.
Ryan brings great energy and goal sense to the forward line.
Ryan played 7 senior VFL games in 2019 kicked 4 goals in those games, as well as 42 goals in 28 games for St Kilda City in the last 2 seasons.
We look forward to seeing what Ryan can do in 2020.
