Duo join the Zebras

The Sandringham Football Club is excited to confirm the signings of Oliver Lowe and Will Gown in the 2022 VFL season.
Oliver Lowe at Sandy Dragons
Oliver Lowe joins us from Sandringham Dragons Football Club.
He has worked hard and is ready to take a leap and join the Sandringham Zebras in 2022. Standing at 188cm, Lowe’s is likely to play as a medium forward or in the backline throughout this season.
Ollie’s height gives him the advantage of being able to play on shorter or taller opponents if playing back. Lowe has played many successful games in his career whilst playing with the Dragons where he has been able to kick a goal in almost every game he played in the forward line. He would often provide a great structural link between the midfield line and the forward line.
We are very excited to welcome Oliver to our team and are eager to watch him grow with the Zebras.
Will Gown at Old Haileybury
Will Gown joins us from Old Haileybury, ready to take the next step in his football career.
Gown has found his place as a defender throughout the Zebras pre-season and will provide the club with plenty of versatility around the ground due to his ability to utilise his size and strength in the air.
Having played at a senior level for a few years now, the 21 year-old big-bodied, key-position player will be a significant part of the Zebras squad in 2022.
We look forward to seeing Will in the Zebra colours this year.
