Felicity & Ash join the Zebs!

The Sandringham Football Club is exicted to announce the signing of Felicity Hilford and Ash Patton for the 2025 VFLW season. 

Felicity Hilford

A basketball convert from the Frankston Blues, Hilford is ready to try her hand at AFL.

She has a wide range of basketball achievements in her sporting resume including being a Grand Final winner for the Victorian Youth League Championship Women's Senior Competition in 2019.

Hilford played three games for Beaumaris in the VAFA late last year and was best-on-ground in two of her three matches, demonstrating her innate athletic ability.

Possessing great qualities such as hand-eye coordination, spatial awareness and quick reflexes, Hilford is looking to transfer her skills from the court to the football field this season.

Ash Patton

Former GWS Academy and Allies member, Patton is a skillful half forward who can also play down back if required. She was an international baseball player while juggling her football but made the decision to fully pursue AFL.

Averaging 11.7 disposals in her three AFLW U18 Championship matches, Patton constantly showcased her ability to compete with the top draftees of the 2024 season.

Patton will be keen to have a breakout year with the Zebs as the sky is the limit in terms of her potential!

We have no doubt Felicity and Ash are gonna play key roles in the VFLW season!
