Carnovale and O'Toole Re-Sign
06/09/2018
Sandringham youngsters Brayden O’Toole and Christian Carnovale are the two latest re-signings that the Sandringham Football Club is excited to announce this week.
Brayden’s season has been plagued with injury this year, but hopes to get out on the track next year at a high level of fitness.
“I’m very thankful for the faith shown in me after my 2018 season was ruined by injury, I’m excited about the prospect of being fully fit in 2019 and having a crack at VFL footy,” O’Toole told the football club.
Christian Carnovale was named in the Zebras side a couple of times this year, and Sandringham chief executive David Cannizzo is excited to see what 2019 brings for the 21-year-old.
“Christian is a local player and another example of the strong relationship our club has with the community clubs. He is focused on his development and I am sure we are going to see his name in this side more often in 2019,” Cannizzo explained.
The excitement of this achievement is not lost on Carnovale, and he is as excited as anyone to get to play at VFL level again next year, and to continue his personal football development.
“Playing at Sandy is a goal I've had for years now, and it means a lot to get the opportunity again next year. The club is great, led well by the players and coaches and I'm excited to get started on 2019,” Carnovale said.
