Mathieson becomes a Zeb!

The Sandringham Football Club is pleased to announce the signing of Andrew Mathieson for season 2025.

Mathieson brings a wealth of experience to the Zebras, having spent the 2024 season with the Box Hill Hawks in the VFL, where he played nine games, following a season with the GWS GIANTS in 2023, playing seven games.

Currently at St Kevin's Old Boys, Mathieson is known for his endurance and precise ball movement. A versatile and consistent performer on the wing, his talent was recognised when he was named in the Division 1 VAFA Team of the Year in 2022, whilst he was playing for Kew Football Club.

Following the conclusion of training for 2024, Mathieson shared his enthusiasm about becoming a Zeb.

“I’m very excited to be joining the Zebs. It’s a very warm club with a bright future.”
